[EXTRACT] “Now I no longer work. I have struggled to reach the deadline, I'm an old horse, marked by the past. I move along for hours at will, and almost always because I want to go somewhere, avoiding rush hours. And I absolutely want, now I leave the hard times and the furious commotion, give the notes written during these trips.”
According to her successive moves and jobs (around Paris and Lyon in France), according to her love stories too, Jane Sautière tells us – by the means of ransport she took – all that has impregnated her, got through her, changed her. Between documentary and impressionistic survey, she exposes the nuances of an aradoxal relationship with these “common places” (metro, bus, tramway, train...), each station an experience where intimacy and collective life are face to face, where routine and adventure are constantly renewed.
